Ohio State defensive end Zach Harrison hinted on Friday that he will return for his senior season.

In an Instagram post, Harrison shared photos of himself from his junior year that included a notable caption, reading, “9/3/22,” the date of the Buckeyes’ opener for next season against Notre Dame.

Before the Rose Bowl, he was still mulling a decision over whether to stay in school or enter next spring’s draft.

A native of Lewis Center who emerged as a five-star recruit out of Olentangy Orange High School in the class of 2019, Harrison has started for the past two seasons for the Buckeyes and finished with three sacks and seven tackles for loss in 2021.

The deadline for underclassmen to declare for the draft is Monday.
