'Fox Big Noon kickoff' is coming to Columbus. How has Ohio State done when on the show?

In 2019, Fox reimagined its college football coverage and created the "Fox Big Noon Kickoff" show that broadcasts for two hours before the network's signature game of that week's college football schedule.

The live pregame show first went on the road, like ESPN's "College GameDay," later that season and has made Columbus a home away from home.

With the Fox and Big Ten television deal in-place (it was renewed and expanded this summer), Ohio State has been featured on the game prominently since its inception.

In fact, this will be the 14th game in which an Ohio State game has been a part of the show either as host or the opponent of the host. And the show will be an hour longer this Saturday.

How many times has Ohio State hosted "Fox Big Noon Kickoff"

Ohio State has hosted seven times and will host an eighth time Saturday against Michigan. Ohio State will surpass 2020, when its hosted twice, when OSU hosts the show for a third time this weekend.

What is the Ohio State record when they play in the 'Fox Big Noon Kickoff' game?

The Buckeyes are 11-2 when they play in the game. The two losses came in 2021 against Oregon and Michigan.

Has 'Fox Big Noon Kickoff' ever gone to the Ohio State-Michigan game?

Yes. In fact the show has not missed an Ohio State vs. Michigan game since starting this format in 2019. But due to the 2020 game being canceled, this is the first time the show has been to an OSU-Michigan game in Columbus.

When did Urban Meyer join "Fox Big Noon Kickoff?'

Legendary Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, who famously never lost to Michigan as head coach, joined the show as an analyst in 2019. He left the show when he was hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021, but returned in 2022 following his time with the Jaguars.

The Buckeyes will host College GameDay for the 22nd time this weekend as well as "Fox Big Noon Kickoff."

The two shows have both come to Columbus for the same game before. In 2019 both were at the Ohio State-Penn State game, a 28-17 OSU win.
