Ohio State's Justice Sueing to return to college and likely to Buckeyes

Justice Sueing has told CBS Sports he is planning to return to college, and a source close to the situation informed The Dispatch he is likely to come back to Ohio State.
Pegged as a primary contributor for the 2021-22 Buckeyes, Sueing instead was limited to the first two games with an injury to his abdominal/groin area that would keep him sidelined for the remainder of the year.
After playing at California for his first two seasons, transferring to Ohio State and sitting out in 2019-20, Sueing averaged 10.7 points and 5.5 rebounds while starting all 31 games for the Buckeyes in 2020-21. He is entering his final year of eligibility.

Sueing was voted one of four captains by his teammates for this past season. Assuming he is able to return to full health, Sueing immediately slots into Ohio State’s starting lineup and figures to be among the Big Ten’s most impactful players in what would be his sixth college season.
A final announcement on Sueing’s future plans is expected within the next week. He has not entered the transfer portal.
It's currently unclear what Ohio State's roster will look like for 2022-23. From last year's team, Joey Brunk, Cedric Russell, Jimmy Sotos, Jamari Wheeler and Kyle Young exhausted their eligibility; Justin Ahrens will play elsewhere for his fifth season after entering the transfer portal; E.J. Liddell has declared for the NBA and hired an agent; Malaki Branham has declared for the NBA while keeping his option to return to college open; and both Sueing and Seth Towns have decisions to make.
The Buckeyes have added a transfer guard in Wright State's Tanner Holden.
