Ohio State women's basketball added another piece from the transfer portal Thursday.

Michigan State forward Taiyier Parks has shared that she is transferring to Ohio State for her final season of eligibility. Previously, former Duke guard and ACC Defensive Player of the Year Celeste Taylor joined the program, a move she announced in April.

Parks, a Cleveland native, posted the news on her Instagram page with the caption "Homecoming."

In four seasons at Michigan State, Parks, a 6-foot-3 forward, mostly came off the bench, averaging 7.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 17.2 minutes per game, shooting 50.8% from the floor and 48.4% from the free-throw line.

In 29 games for the Spartans in 2022-23, Parks averaged 8.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game, shooting a career-high 57.5% from the field.

How did Taiyier Parks do against Ohio State?

Michigan State's Taiyier Parks, middle, is joining the Ohio State after battling the Buckeyes four times during her college career.

She has played against Ohio State four times, shooting 48.1% from the field with 7.8 points and eight rebounds per game.

As a junior, Parks recorded a double-double against OSU at East Lansing, recording 15 points and 13 rebounds in Michigan State's 61-55 win on Feb. 27, 2022.

Parks did not play against the Buckeyes during the 2022-23 season.

She will add depth in the front court, as Ohio State is expected to return guard/forward Taylor Thierry and forward Cotie McMahon for the 2023-24 season, and the Buckeyes are set to add center Faith Carson, a 6-foot-4 center, in the 2023 class.
