Ohio State football gets its 2023 quarterback in four-star Brock Glenn
Coming out of Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee, Glenn is listed as the eighth-best prospect in the state, while also being the No. 17 quarterback and No. 335 player in the 2023 class, per 247Sports composite rankings.

Last season, Glenn led Lausanne to nine wins and a Tennessee Class 2A Division II semifinal appearance, completing 62.6% of his passes for 1,576 passing yards, 23 touchdowns and nine interceptions. The junior four-star quarterback also averaged 5.2 yards per carry and scored three rushing touchdowns.
With C.J. Stroud, Kyle McCord and Devin Brown serving as the Buckeyes' three scholarship quarterbacks, Ohio State focused first on securing a quarterback in the 2024 class, getting five-star Dylan Raiola: the No. 1 player in the class.
The Raiola commitment seemed to secure the pipeline after Stroud, with McCord and Brown set to take the reins before the incoming Chandler, Arizona junior arrives in Columbus, not leaving much of a window for a 2023 quarterback to have an opportunity for significant playing time for the Buckeyes.
Ohio State remained in the mix to fill the gap.
While Day, quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis and the rest of the program were not in contention for some of the top names in the class like Arch Manning, Malachi Nelson and Dante Moore, Ohio State remained in the mix for players like Glenn and Baylor commit Austin Novosad, who is now getting attention from programs like Texas A&M and Notre Dame.
Offered in early June, Glenn took an official visit with Ohio State June 17-19, one week after his official visit at Florida State.
Glenn is the second Tennessee native to join Ohio State's 2023 class along with four-star tight end Ty Lockwood. Running back Dallan Hayden, tight end Mitch Rossi and tight end Zak Herbstreit all hail from Tennessee.
