Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson limps off field with injury vs. Michigan State

After showing no rust in Ohio State's running game in the first half, TreVeyon Henderson returned to the injury tent after his first rush in the second half against Michigan State.
The Ohio State sophomore running back was taken down after a one-yard gain by Michigan State cornerback Charles Brantley, but limped off the field before the Buckeyes could run another play.
After exiting the injury tent, Henderson was seen on the sideline without his helmet.

In the first half, Henderson recorded 117 rushing yards on 19 carries including a one-yard touchdown rush.
Freshman Dallan Hayden replaced Henderson at the start of the third quarter for the Buckeyes. Hayden is one of three running backs that traveled to East Lansing — along with freshman walk-on TC Caffey —with Miyan Williams unavailable due to what was reported as a "pre-existing knee injury."
Wide receiver Xavier Johnson also lined up at running back for the Buckeyes against the Spartans in the second quarter.
Henderson missed Ohio State's win against Rutgers with an apparent foot injury. Coach Ryan Day said earlier this week that he expected Henderson to be available, noting he was further along in practices, and the sophomore was not included on the unavailable list.
