Date set for Ohio State's 2023 spring football game
The date for Ohio State’s annual spring football game has been set.
The Buckeyes will hold their intrasquad scrimmage at Ohio Stadium on April 15, the school announced Thursday.
The spring game marks the end of 15 spring practices that are held over March and April and gives fans and observers a peek at the roster for the upcoming season.
Ohio State will have a quarterback competition to replace C.J. Stroud ongoing after the two-time Heisman Trophy finalist declared for the NFL draft earlier this month. Kyle McCord and Devin Brown, former blue-chip passers out of high school who backed up Stroud last fall, are considered the top passers in line to succeed him.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 10. Kickoff has been scheduled for noon as in previous years.
