Ohio State football running back TreVeyon Henderson fully cleared for return

Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson said this week he has been medically cleared to return to full football activities.
In a tweet posted on Sunday, he wrote, “So many lessons was learned but I thank the lord for getting me through this and keeping me lifted, Officially cleared!!”
Henderson, who underwent surgery in December to repair torn ligaments and a broken bone in his left foot, was limited to non-contact drills throughout spring practice.
He was not a participant in last Saturday’s spring game, which marked the last of the Buckeyes’ 15 practices until the start of preseason training camp in August.

Henderson appeared to be ahead of scheduled in his recovery from foot surgery as coach Ryan Day had in February forecasted him to be unavailable for spring practice before he made a limited return this month.
The foot injury hindered Henderson last fall as rushed for 571 yards and six touchdowns and missed five games, including the College Football Playoff.
He broke out as a freshman in 2021, rushing for 1,255 yards and 15 touchdowns.
