The Jacksonville Jaguars are still hunting their first win since Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season. They looked like they might pull an upset against the Arizona Cardinals, but a second-quarter lead proved short-lived

Coach Urban Meyer leads the 0-3 Jags on a short week to face the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football.

Trevor Lawrence, the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, is off to a rocky start, throwing five touchdowns against seven interceptions. James Robinson got back on track, though, and Jamal Agnew has gotten return touchdowns in back-to-back weeks. The Jags will have a reorganized secondary after trading CJ Henderson to the Carolina Panthers for tight end Dan Arnold.

The 2-1 Bengals are tied atop the AFC North as Joe Burrow, the No. 1 pick in the 2020 draft, has enjoyed throwing to Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins and rookie Ja'Marr Chase. Higgins missed last week's win against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a shoulder injury, and he did not practice at the start of the short week. Even without the full complement of wide receivers, the Bengals still have Joe Mixon available out of the backfield.
