Dorka Juhasz scored 27 points and Jacy Sheldon 23 on Tuesday night to lead six Ohio State women's basketball players in double figures, and the Buckeyes rolled to a 104-74 win over host Sacramento State to close out their nonconference schedule.

Juhasz also had 16 rebounds for her first double-double of the season. Rebeka Mikulasikova scored 14 points, and Aaliyah Patty and Braxtin Miller scored 13 apiece.

The Buckeyes (7-4) took control early, scoring the game's first eight points and leading by 16 after the first quarter. The Hornets (1-7) reduced their deficit to eight right before halftime on a three-pointer from Summer Menke and trailed 51-49 on a Kennedy Nicholas three-pointer with 8:22 left in the third.

Then Ohio State began to pull away. Patty made two free throws, and then came two baskets from Juhasz, one from Patty and another from Mikulasikova to stretch the lead back to 12 points with 4:08 to go in the quarter. A Mikulasikova layup with 3:38 left in the game put Ohio State over 100 points for the first time this season.

Juhasz made 11 of 17 attempts from the field, and the Buckeyes shot 51.9% as a team. They converted 18 of 23 free throw attempts but struggled from three-point range, making only 6 of 27 attempts. Ohio State had 14 steals, with Miller making half of them.

Gabi Bade led Sacramento State with 16 points.

The Buckeyes have wrapped up the nonconference portion of their schedule, which included games against No. 1 Stanford (a 71-52 loss), No. 2 Louisville (a 67-60 win) and No. 4 Connecticut (a 73-62 loss).

Their next game isn't until Dec. 28, when they open Big Ten play against Purdue at Value City Arena. January features a challenging stretch including games against No. 13 Maryland, No. 19 Michigan State and No. 24 Michigan.
